THE FINE PRINT
Okay but really how well does it work
While our technology is good, it isn't, predict-the-text-that's-under-your-thumb good. Here's a reference of what it does well, and how it handles dodgy scenarios:
Scanning performs well when there's a reasonable amount of contrast between the background and the document. Generally as long as it can find all four edges of the document, the result should look pretty good.
In situations where it either can't find the edges because it's a white document on a white background, or one of the edges was clipped, it will use a fall-back algorithm to make its best effort.We'll highlight any scans that used this fallback method in-app in yellow, so you can verify that nothing important was cropped out.

SETUP GUIDE
Installation Steps
1. Run the .exe file
After downloading ScanStraight (the blue button above), run the exectuable.2. Allow Windows to install program
You'll get a warning that Windows protected your PC. You'll need to click the More info button, and a Run anyway button will appear.
3. Windows Installation
Complete the regular windows install process. If you have an old version of ScanStraight, this will replace any other installations.
4. License Key
The first time you run ScanStraight it will prompt you to provide a license key. This key is emailed to you when you purchase the app. Paste the key in, and click 'Active License Key'.
